Oceans of Books

I have So much to do today, and a lot scheduled for tomorrow. So what am I doing? Sitting here fixing to share more comedy with you and me. Tomorrow will be a trial by fire for me, so unless I am ashes, I hope to continue with your Sunday Funday! Now for one brief story:

We live at the beach. We are locals. We live actually just a couple blocks from the ocean front. So when tourist season begins, us locals run to many other beach spots trying to avoid the tourist crowds. Our area has the infamous (to us) beach drink called the “Orange Crush.” Not only is it alcohol, (we are a beach town so we have a billion bars, churches, and 7-11’s 😂), but it’s made with fresh oranges. (THANK YOU FLORIDA ORANGE GROWERS!) It also is vodka and triple sec with Sprite and a bunch of other things. We love it so much, we have an entire festival dedicated to it! Crush fest sells out every year. So, my 16 year old daughter is talking to me about going on a lunch date tomorrow……..now you KNOW you live at the beach when your 16 year old says, “Hey mom, if we go to this resteraunt then you can have an orange crush, and you haven’t had one all summer!” 😂😂😂😂 You heard it here first! She’s officially a beach local too. Promoting our booze drink without a second thought! (It does have Vitamin C and “ain’t nobody got time for scurvy!” 😂🍊🍊🍊🍹

Now without further ado, can we all say together “STRESS SUCKS!” So it’s laughter time!

Lately, I’ve had this usually high amount of straight up stress. Reasons really don’t matter, however the end result of anxiety and OH MY GOD do……so, I’ve decided to start the day with some laughter! It is, after all, the best medicine. Just ask this nurse!

What a day! (But your funnies are at the end!)

Everyday we wake up it’s such a blessing. One more chance to do the right thing. To be a great person. To be there for someone else selflessly. Everyday is a new beginning.

So, we get up and we go out and we try to do what’s right. What is expected. I’ve noticed though that some days are harder than others. Somedays, although best intentions are put forth, we fall short. Then begins a blame game. Why did I? Why did they? Why is it always me?

Sometimes we just want a do over. To just go back to bed and wake up and it will all be better. But guess what?? That’s the beauty! Everyday is a new beginning. Instead of challenges, you’ve been given a new possibility.

I don’t know about you, but I think that’s an amazing gift. I screw up ALL the time, but tomorrow I have a chance to start again. Like the ocean it’s never the same shore twice. You step and move your foot, and all of the sand that was there changes. That’s us!

I’m going through some major changes too right now, so I am terribly late on my book reviews and blog posts…..but that’s ok. Tomorrow is another day. Another chance. Now, instead of all the sentimental stuff that clogs up this blog, I choose to end it with more funnies. So……….without further ado……these people get another chance too!
