When I think about all the books that get thrown away, all those words and thoughts from somebody’s dreams, it makes me feel like the world became just a little bit darker. Colder. Sad.
This ability to recycle books into beautiful pieces of art allows for there to be a little more light and life brought to not only the written word, but to our homes, families, friends and co-workers.

This candle has over 255 folds in it, as well as over 470 individual cuts, and comes from hours of painstaking care and work before its ever even decorated. Flowers are handcrafted from book pages, mulberry paper, card stock, origami paper, and even hand dyed book pages and papers. I think all that work yields a beautiful result.
