So I guess I’ll continue this story with what came next. The pregnancy. I have several friends who have experienced a twin pregnancy and the general consensus seems to be that growing two little humans is nothing to joke about. Pregnancy, in general, is no walk in the park and I’m in no way discounting what other women go through with a singleton pregnancy. Growing a child in your body is hard work. Period. A twin pregnancy is every bit as hard as it sounds. The first time around I had several issues. Extreme nausea and vomiting in the first trimester and issues with an incompetent cervix and several hospital stays for preterm labor later on. I held off until 35 weeks and 2 days when I went into labor and had a csection due to a breech baby.
